I’m done with my timeout and pity party. I put my big girl panties on, and I’m feeling much better. Truck Driver Burt and I discussed everything… from babies, to doctors, to driving times. I made a discussion, slept on it, and I feel very confident about it too. We decided that driving 2 ½ hours for a doctor is just too far for us. I’m going to give my old RE a second chance. Who knows… his receptionist could’ve just been having a very bad day. His nurse called me later and was very nice and apologetic about the whole thing. My next appointment is April 18th at 10 A.M.
In other news, yesterday I helped my family with shearing 155 head of sheep. We separated and sorted them and then the shearers came and started to get to work. They took forever this year! We started at 1 P.M., and we didn’t get finished till after 7 P.M. Today, my entire body is sore, my allergies are killing me, and I’m sunburned. I need to do laundry and pay bills, but I’m pretty sure all that is going to get accomplished is me watching Roseanne and Anne of Green Gables all day. I like to think of Truck Driver Burt and me as a classier version of Dan and Roseanne Conner. – The Infertile Housewife
P.S. Thanks to all the wonderful ladies that were so sweet when I was so upset. I appreciate it.

I knew you just needed a hug!
Have another one. They are free, of course they are just virtual but my fingers and toes will be crossed for you.
((((((hugs))))))
Thanks, Jeanette. Same to you!
Sheep shearing must be exhausting work! You deserve a day on the couch!
I’m glad to hear y’all made a decision about sticking with the RE in your town. 2 1/2 hrs is a bit much, so hopefully your doc and his/her staff will step up and start treating you right!
It is exhausting, but I did end up doing the dishes and cooking dinner. I sure hope they step up!
